Troubleshooting
Problem
The notebook feels
too hot.
The battery pack will
not charge.

charge indicator light
is off.

Possible Cause
The system is using too much
power or is not properly
ventilated.
The battery pack is exposed
to an excessively hot or cold
environment.
Overheating
To prevent your computer
from overheating make sure
nothing blocks the vent
while the computer is in use.
The battery is already fully
charged and the indicator
light is broken.
Possible Solution
Reduce the computer's power consumption. Make
sure the notebook is properly ventilated and the fan
port is not blocked. If this doesn't cool it down, put the
system into Suspend mode or turn it off for an hour.
Place the battery in a suitable environment and after it
returns to normal temperature try again.
The battery may be bad and may need to be replaced,
