If you disabled the switch, when the process is finished, issue the switchEnable command.
NOTE:
Because some configuration parameters require a reboot to take effect, after you download a
configuration file you must reboot to be sure that the parameters are enabled. Before the reboot, this type
of parameter is listed in the configuration file, but it is not effective until after the reboot.

Security considerations

Security parameters and the switch's identity cannot be changed by configDownload. Parameters such as
the switch's name and IP address (lines in the configuration file that begin with boot) are ignored. Security
parameters (lines in the configuration file that begin with sec), such as secure mode setting and version
stamp, are ignored.

switch ignores the IPL file downloaded when you restore a configuration.
