Page orientation
The Page orientation setting controls whether TextBridge Pro
attempts to rotate the scanned or on-line page image before it
processes it.
For most common documents, you can specify the Portrait
setting, the default.
For some documents, such as spreadsheets, where print runs
across the length of the page, specify the Landscape setting.
With the Automatic setting, however, TextBridge Pro runs an
analysis on the page image(s) to determine their orientation, then
rotates them in memory, if necessary, before beginning OCR
(Figure 6–9).

Automatic orientation requires more processing time than the
other settings, but it is useful when you are processing documents
with pages of mixed orientation; or when you are processing on-
line image files, and you do not know the orientation of the pages
in the files.
