Specify the type of dithering pattern if any. For color
printing, dithering blends pure colors into patterns to
simulate a wider range of colors. For example, orange is
produced by blending read and yellow. For black and white
printing, dithering produces gray shading in graphics. Click
None if you do not want any dithering. Click Fine if your
resolution is 200 dpi or less. Click Coarse if your resolution is
300 dpi or higher. Click Line Art if your graphics are line
drawings. Click Error Diffusion for printing photographs that
do not have sharp, well-defined edges.
Specify a lighter or darker Intensity, which controls how
dark to print graphics in the resulting XIF document.
Click the Color button to define how color graphics are to be
treated in the resulting XIF document. The Graphics – Color
dialog box is displayed (Figure 5–4).

Specify a color control setting. If you choose Color With
Image Color Matching, calculations are performed before the
document is printed to make the colors on the printed page
more closely match the colors on your screen. This can slow
down the process.
