Displaying the TWAIN dialog box
By default, when you select a TWAIN scanner driver, it is
configured to run directly from Pagis Pro. The TWAIN driver's
own user interface is hidden.
Because some TWAIN drivers are not designed to be used with
their interfaces hidden, Pagis Pro cannot always directly control
a TWAIN scanner.
If your scanner's TWAIN driver is not designed to be hidden, you
may see any one of the following results when running it this way
with Pagis Pro:
The message "An internal error has occurred" appears when
you attempt to scan.
One of the error messages, "Bad value" or "Invalid
parameter" appears during scanning.
Other error messages appear during scanning, or the scanned
image itself is poor.
Scan resolution, page size or brightness settings are not
available or functioning in the Scan Tool Properties menu.
In such cases, you must configure your scanner to work with its
own TWAIN dialog box showing.
Use the following procedure:
1. Launch the Scan Tool by selecting the Scanner icon from
the Pagis ToolBar.
2. With the Scan Tool Scanner tab displayed (refer to
Figure 4–15), click:
The Select Scanner dialog box (refer to Figure 4–16) now appears.
