One of the key tools in Pagis Pro is the award-wining TextBridge
Pro 98 program. TextBridge Pro provides industry-leading
optical character recognition (OCR) technologies that enable
you to convert scanned documents into editable text in your word
processor or other text application.
TextBridge Pro is tightly integrated into Pagis Pro. It is used
during drag-and-drop operations and for full-text indexing of
scanned and other image documents.
However, you can also run TextBridge Pro as a standalone
program, accessing all of its automatic and manual processing
tools. To run TextBridge Pro directly in Windows, click:
Start Programs Pagis Pro 2.0 TextBridge Pro 98
The TextBridge Pro main window is displayed (Figure 5–5).
