Specifying auto save properties
When you select Properties from the Copier or Fax tab of the
Scan Tool, you can access Scanner and Page Refinement
properties.
From the Scan Tool's Scanner tab, however, you have access to
two additional types of properties.
One of those property types—Auto Save—enables you to control
the name and folder of the scanned document, the image format,
compression level, and more.
To specify Auto Save properties:
1. Launch the Scan Tool by selecting the Scanner icon from
the Pagis ToolBar.
2. With the Scanner tab displayed, click:
3. Click the Auto Save tab to display this group of settings
(Figure 4–21, next page).
4. In the File Name field, specify a new file name.
The default file name is based on the Page Type you selected on
the main Scanner tab. You can accept this name, or type a new
name up to 256 characters in length (the Windows limit).
5. In the Save In field, specify the folder in which the file is
to be saved.
The Save In field is a list box that contains the Pagis Inbox and
all the folders in the Pagis Inbox.
Click Browse to browse to a new file folder. When you do, the new
file folder is added as an option in the Save In list box. It also
becomes the new default folder for scanned images until you
change it again.
