F-QIP Configuration
1. Select Next. The Exporting F-QIP Configuration screen appears (Figure 5-17).

2. Choose one of these combinations:
• Select Use Soft Address and Fabric.
• Select Use Loop ID and enter the loop ID hard address value between 0 and
125; then select Loop/Point-to-Point.
• Select Use Soft Address and Auto-negotiate.
• Select Use Loop ID and enter the loop ID hard address value between 0 and
125; then select Auto-negotiate.
Note: If Loop/Point-to-Point is set, it may be overridden by the switch to
which the F-QIP is connected.
3. Select Next as applicable to continue to set ports for the drives on each QIP.
4. When you finish defining ports, proceed to Confirm and Save Partition Settings
on page 69.
