Up to two Ecotron units can be stacked on each other. Stacking requires the optional stacking kit.
CAUTION: The operation of stacked units without stacking kit is not permitted! The top
unit may change its position due to vibrations and may crash down.
For stacking, proceed as follows:

Remove the four cover caps from the threaded holes in the top side of the lower unit.

Screw the four hexagon socket head cap screws with the washers, spring washers and guide
sleeves into the threaded holes.

Place the insulation mat in between.
Two adults:
-
Lift the upper unit using the integral handles on each housing side and place it vertically onto
the lower unit.
The guide sleeves will automatically slide into the respective notches in the frame of the top unit.

Location
4.1
In General
The following points have to be considered when choosing the location:
-
Protection from mechanical dangers (small trolleys, kicks, etc.)

For a shaker without cooling, the outside temperature should not be higher than 5 °C above the
desired minimal incubation temperature.

For a shaker with cooling the outside temperature should not be higher than 15 °C above the
desired minimal incubation temperature.

The outside temperature may not exceed 30 °C.
-
The machine should not be exposed to direct sunlight!
-
The surface on which the shaker stands has to be horizontal and absolutely flat.
-
The shaker should not be exposed to extreme masses of dust and dirt while unprotected.
-
The control panel is not waterproof and must not be exposed to hosing down or spraying with
water.

The optional base on which the shaker may be placed must be positioned safely and stable.
-
Please think of all the different connections you need for the interfaces.
