NOTICE
The shaker drive can start up automatically, if the device was not
switched off correctly beforehand. Loose items in the incubation
chamber can damage the device and cultivation vessels if this hap-
pens.
Activate the power switch on the right side of the housing.
�� Once switched on, the power switch will light up in green
and the device will automatically run a self-test. As soon as
the initialisation process is complete, the device is ready for
operation.
The door can be opened while the device is running. The shaker drive,
temperature control and all other parameters are stopped automati-
cally. If the door is opened completely, the tray is released and can be
pulled out if required.
At rotation speeds of up to 200 min
restrictions. If the device is operated at a rotation speed of more than
200 min the door opening is locked temporarily. It is not possible to

open the door fully until the shaking table has come to a full stop.
To open the door during operation at rotation speeds above 200 min
proceed as follows:
1. Open the door half way and wait until the shaking table has
stopped.
�� You can hear a click when the door opening is released.
2. Open the door completely. If the door does not unlock straight
away, lift the door up slightly to take the load off the locking
mechanism.
As soon as the door is closed again, the shaker drive and all other
parameters restart automatically.
