Rectifying Faults
General Faults
Fault description
After activating the
power switch, the dis-
play and the power
switch do not light up.
The tray cannot be
locked.
The working light does
not work.

Cause
Power supply of the device
interrupted.
A fuse (230 V version) or
thermal protection switch
(115 V version) has triggered.
There is a foreign object jam-
ming the locking mechanism.
The tray is jammed due to for-
eign objects under the shaking
table.
The tray is bent.
The working light is deacti-
vated.
The lighting element is defec-
tive.
Remedy
Check if the plugs are

plugged in correctly.
Check the mains con-
■
nection.
Change the fuse or reset
the thermal protection
switch (⮫ chapter 8.4, page
106). If the fuses/thermal
protection switches trigger
several times, contact your
local INFORS HT represen-
tative.
Remove the foreign object.
Detach the shaking table
from its axle, tip it up and
remove the foreign objects
(⮫ chapter 9.2.3, page 109).
Replace the tray.
Activate the working
light (⮫ 'Illumination'
on page 94).
