The device fuses may only be replaced by fuses of
the same rating. For information on the requirements
regarding fuses, see ⮫ Chapter 12.3.3 ' Electrical Con-
nection and Power Values' on page 120.
To replace a defective device fuse, proceed as follows:
1.
Turn off the device and pull out the power plug.
2.
Release the slot for the device fuses next to the mains connec-
tion by pressing together the two flaps and pulling out at the
same time.
3.
Remove the defective device fuse.
4.
Insert a new device fuse with the correct number of Amperes.
5.
Push the plug as far back in the opening as possible until it snaps
in.
6.
Restore the power supply to the device.
The provider must return the device or the faulty component part(s)
to the manufacturer if, after consulting the service department of the
local dealer or the manufacturer, on-site diagnosis and/or repair is not
possible.
If the device, component or accessory has to be
returned to the manufacturer for repair, a legally
compliant declaration of decontamination is required
for the safety of all parties involved and to comply
with legal requirements (⮫ Chapter 2.10 'Declaration
of Decontamination' on page 27).
