2-8 Setup and Operation
1. Save your files, exit Windows, and press the Suspend button or turn off system
power.
2. Close the LCD and turn the system over.
Release the battery cover latch and slide the battery bay cover away from the

system.
4. Place a finger in the notch on the battery and lift the battery out of the system.
(The notch has an arrow next to it.)
Always lift the battery out of the system by the notch. Fail-
ure to do so can damage the battery terminals.
