Memory Cache

For memory caching parameters, select "Memory Cache" directly from the Main Menu
summary window. See Table 2-4 for a description of memory cache parameters.

Memory Shadow

Memory Shadow is always enabled. This parameter is not user-selectable.

Boot Options

The system might require a Supervisor password to set Boot parameters. Select "Boot
Options" directly from the Main Menu summary window to display the "Boot Options"
menu.
Use the legend keys to make the selections and exit to the Main Menu. Use Table 2-5 to
select the boot options.
CAUTION: Incorrect settings can cause the
system to malfunction.

Setup and Operation
Description
Sets the state of external cache.
Controls caching of the video BIOS area.
Default is disabled. Cache shadows optional ROM
located in specified segments of memory and can
improve performance. CAUTION: Some add-in
boards, particularly with on-board firmware, do
not work properly when shadowed.
