Connecting the Module to Fan Controls

Only a certified electrician can complete the power supply installation. Make sure all
power sources are disconnected before performing any maintenance or service.
WARNING
Always follow all national and local electrical and safety regulation for your area.
NOTE: The Fan Control Module has no manual shut off for fan control. When wiring relays and other
controls, ensure that a manual fan shut off is installed, independent from the GrainVue system.
There are two versions of the Fan Control Module, one uses relays to control fans, and the other uses
logic signals. The relay control version is intended to interface directly with a fan contactor. The logic
signal version is intended to interface with an existing PLC system.
1. For relay control follow the steps below:
a. Remove the pre-installed knockout plug (22) (for relay cable), circled in red.

b. Install an outdoor rated conduit fitting in the hole that was previously occupied by the knockout
plug.
