Result: The charger should operate and begin charging the batteries.
Result: If, simultaneously, the charger alarm sounds and the LEDs blink, correct the charger

connections at the fuse and battery. The charger will then operate correctly and begin
charging the batteries.
Note: For best results, use an extension cord of adequate size with a length no longer than 50 feet
(15 meters).

Electrical Wiring
Maintaining electrical wiring in good condition is essential to safe operation and good machine
performance. Failure to find and replace burnt, chafed, corroded or pinched wires could result in
unsafe operating conditions and may cause component damage.

WARNING
1. Inspect the following areas for burnt, chafed, corroded and loose wires:
•
Ground Control Panel
•
Hydraulic Power Unit Module Tray
•
Platform Controls
2. Turn the key switch to ground control and pull the red Emergency Stop button out to the On
position (pulled out) at both the ground and platform controls
3. Raise the platform approximately 7.2 feet (2.2 meters) from the ground.
4. Lift the safety arm, move it to the center of the scissor arm and rotate up to a vertical position.
5. Lower the platform onto the safety arm.

WARNING
6. Inspect the center chassis area and scissor arms for burnt, chafed and pinched cables.
7. Inspect the following areas for burnt, chafed, corroded, pinched and loose wires:
•
Scissor Arms
•
ECU to Platform Controls
•
Power to Platform Wiring
8. Inspect for a liberal coating of dielectric grease in the following locations:
•
Between the ECU and platform controls
•
All wire harness connectors Level sensor
9. Raise the platform and return the safety arm to the stowed position.
10. Lower the platform to the stowed position and turn the machine off.
