Scanning range of the reference contour field
The effective scanning range of the reference contour field is the same as the protec‐
tive field range.
Scanning range of the contour detection field
The effective scanning range of the contour detection field is the same as the protective
field range.
Range for warning fields
For non-safety applications (warning fields), the safety laser scanner has a larger range
than the maximum protective field range. The requirements for size and remission of
objects to be detected are illustrated in the following graphs as a function of the
desired range.
