8.1.5 Use the lifting device properly

Improper use of the lifting device can endanger the operator and damage the
product.
Handle loads horizontally only.
The lifting process must not be supported by external forces.
Do not pull, drag or drag loads at an angle.
Do not use the lifting device to pull loose loads that are stuck.
Only ever handle a load with one lifting device.
Especially with thin and large-format stone slabs, ensure that they do not
bend.
CAUTION! Risk of breakage, especially when handling large-format
stone slabs with small suction plates! Only suction stone slabs in the
centre.
Reduce the load before taking longer breaks.
Always guide and handle the lifting device at an ergonomically favourable working
height.

8.1.6 Behaviour in an emergency

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to emergency situation!
The following situations constitute an emergency:
Vacuum drop during handling into the red area of the pressure gauge (also
- Vacuum drop below -0.6 bar
If the load securing chain has been stressed by the falling load, check the
load securing chain professionally and replace if necessary.
Damaged load securing chains must no longer be used.

Inform all persons in the vicinity of the danger zone immediately.
Do not enter the danger zone.
If possible, switch off the load safely.
Failure of vacuum generation, e.g. in the event of a power failure.

In the event of a leak, e.g. a hose rupture.
