8.1.2 Safety instructions for the combustion engine

8.1.3 Personnel qualification

The lifting device may only be used by operators who fulfil the following requirements:
• The operator has reached the age of 18.
• The operator is physically and mentally fit and can be expected to
reliably fulfil the tasks assigned to him.
• The operator has been instructed in the operation of the lifting device
and has read and understood the operating instructions.

8.1.4 Protective equipment

The following protective equipment is required for operation:
• Industrial safety helmet
• Safety shoes
• Sturdy work gloves depending on the load
• Tight-fitting clothing
• Use a hairnet if necessary.

Depending on the load surface, noise levels may occur that require hearing protection to be worn.

The fuel is flammable and
explosive. The vapours are
harmful to health.
Switch off the engine and allow it to cool down before refuelling.
Ensure that there are no open fires in the vicinity.
Only fill the fuel tank to approx. 4 cm below the top edge of
the filler neck to allow the fuel to expand.
After refuelling, close the fuel tank tightly.
The exhaust gas from the combustion engine contains toxic carbon monoxide.
Inhalation can lead to unconsciousness and even death!
Never operate the lifting device in closed rooms,
not even in a partially enclosed environment where people
could be present.
High noise level due to leakage between load and suction pad
Hearing damage!
Measure the noise level with typical loads.
