Recheck:
•
Machine in service program basic menu.
•
Attach buttonhole foot with slide 3A.
•
If the slide of the presser-foot is moved, signals A and B
appear in the needle-position bar below the '5' of the stitch-
length bar.
Repair notes:
•
Check PCBA-buttonhole sensor for dirt, and
clean if necessary.
•
Check cables and connectors for deformation
and/or wear and tear.
•
Check balance calibration.
•
Check mechanical parts of presser foot (smooth sliding of slide in frame, motion of signal-
prism).
•
Replace buttonhole foot with slide.
•
Replace PCBA-buttonhole sensor.
•
Replace PCBA-Base
Do not remove or plug in any connections when the sewing computer is switched on or
connected to the power supply.
IV. Checking of LD display functioning
•
Select LCD button.
What to test:
•
Liquid Crystal Display
Target state:
•
All segments are lit up and the square changes on its own.
Press clr to exit the test. The machine returns to service program
basic position.
Repair notes:
•
Replace PCBA-Base
Do not remove or plug in any connections when the sewing computer is switched on or
connected to the power supply.
