4.1.5 Front cover

Disassembly:
•
Remove balance button 1.
•
Put feed-dog drop button into sewing position.
•
Pull LED sewing light 18 out from the front
cover (see small picture).
•
Turn the main shaft until the toothed rack sits at
the far right (handwheel end).
•
Remove five screws 23 (T20 40X16)
•
Unplug connections a to f.
•
Remove front cover.
Assembly:
•
Replug connections a to g.
a) Buttonhole sensor
b) LED Sewing light
c) Winder motor
d) Stepping Motor Stitch Width
e) Stepping Motor Stitch Length
f) Main motor
g) PCBA-Power connecting cable
•
Refit covers.
•
Put feed-dog drop button into sewing position.
•
Turn the handwheel until the toothed rack sits at the far right (handwheel end).
•
Refit and tighten five screws 23.
•
Refit balance button 1.
