5.3.2 Darning foot height

Check:
•
Attach darning foot.
•
Drop feed-dog.
•
Use adjusting tool 030349.70.00 (on the flat side) to pin main-shaft balance piece.
•
Use darning-foot height gauge 398026131+ to check the
clearance (0.5 mm) between stitch plate and darning-foot
sole.
Correction:
•
Use adjusting tool 030349.70.00 (on the flat side) to pin
main-shaft balance piece.
•
Loosen pusher-dog screw 11 (T8).
•
Place darning foot on height gauge 398026131+.
•
Retighten screw 11 (T8).
Important: Check contact position/sideways twist of
presser-foot bar.
•
Remove pinning tools

5.3.3 Presser foot fixation

Check:
•
Clamping lobe 7 should tighten the clamping
lever 8 at a third to half of the way.
•
The presser foot sole and the markings on the
stitch plate must be parallel
Correction:
•
Loosen clamp screw 9 (T20).
•
Adjust clamp height until correct clamping
position is reached.
•
Align presser-foot sole with markings on stitch
plate.
•
Retighten screw 9 (T20).
