4.2.2 PCBA-Ret

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Remove two screws 3 (T10 30X8).
•
Remove PCBA-RET.
Assembly:
Important: Ensure that the two spiral springs and
the cables are positioned correctly before refitting the PCBA.
•
Refit PCBA-Ret.
•
Retighten two screws 3 (T10 30X8).
•
Refit covers.

4.2.3 PCBA-Buttonhole sensor

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Remove thread take-up lever
Item 4.3.7 Thread take-up lever
•
Using a screwdriver, carefully raise buttonhole
sensor at head frame clip.
•
Turn sensor to front and remove.
Assembly:
•
Slide new sensor into «bore» position and
align with head frame (positioning).
•
Carefully press clip onto presser-foot bar
guide bearing until it engages.
•
Place ribbon cable in such way that it won't
touch moving parts.
•
Refit thread take-up lever.
•
Refit covers.
•
Calibrate buttonhole.
•
Functional check.
•
Sewing-off.
