Chapter 5 – Settings
5.0 Basics – General Information
To enable the settings and adjustments described to be performed correctly, the machine must be in good
mechanical and electrical condition. (Running smoothly, properly oiled and all leads connected)!
When adjustments are carried out in the correct order, the machine will function flawlessly.
Important:
Always use a needle size "Nm 80" when adjusting and setting the machine, unless otherwise specified.
Always check the needle before carrying out adjustments on the machine! The needle must be absolutely
straight
(130/705 H TCN).
For servicing, we recommend that you always use the accessories included with the machine or purchased
specifically for it. These are the following: Main cable, Foot control unit, Buttonhole foot and other
accessories.
