Incomplete update because the BERNINA USB stick was removed too soon
NOTICE
If the software has not been updated or has not been fully updated, the machine cannot be used.
> Remove the BERNINA USB stick only once the update has been successfully completed.
> To start the firmware update, tap «Update».
Update
– Wait until the firmware update has finished.
Restoring Saved Data
If personal data and settings are not available after a software update, they can be transferred to the
machine again afterwards.
> Insert the USB stick with the saved data and settings into the USB port of the machine.
> Tap «Home».
> Tap «Setup Program».
> Tap «Machine Settings».
> Tap «Maintenance/update».
> Tap «Updating firmware».
UPDATE
> Tap «Load Data».
> Wait until the data has been fully transferred.
BERNINA USB Stick (Optional Accessory) has been removed too early
NOTICE
Saved data cannot be transferred and the machine cannot be used.
> Remove the BERNINA USB stick (optional accessory) only after the saved data has been transferred
successfully.
> Remove the USB stick.

> Clean the display when it is switched off with a soft slightly damp microfiber cloth.

Remaining threads under the stitch plate must occasionally be removed.
> Raise the needle and presser foot.
Electronically Driven Components
CAUTION
Risk of injury near the needle and the hook.
> Switch the machine off and disconnect it from the power supply system.
> Remove the needle and presser foot.
