4.3.3 Stitch width stepping motor (SB)

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Remove gear pinion 27.
•
Remove two screws 26 (T10 M3X6).
•
Remove stepping motor.
Assembly:
•
Refit stepping motor and fasten with two screws
26 (T10 M3X6).
•
Refit gear pinion 27 but don't fasten it yet.
•
Reconnect stepping motor and refit front cover.
•
Refit rear cover and power supply unit.
•
Start the machine in the service program.
•
Select test No. 8.
•
Hold 0.5mm feeler gauge between head frame
and gear pinion 27.
•
Use 4mm pinning tool 002733.50.00 to pin gear
pinion.
•
Tighten gear pinion 27 screw.
•
Set mechanical needle position
(Chapter 5 Item 5.4 Needle
•
Calibrate buttonhole
•
Functional check and sewing-off.

4.3.4 Stitch length stepping motor and crank shaft

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Remove screw 5 (T10 30X10) and balance shaft 3.
•
Remove tension springs 13, 23 and 28.
•
Loosen three screws 22 (T20 M4X10).
•
Remove clamp, crank shaft and stitch length gear.
Stepping motor:
•
Release springs 18 and 20 and remove carrier plate.
•
Loosen setscrew 13 (T6 3X4) and remove gear pinion.
•
Loosen two screws 14 (T10 M3X6), remove stepping motor.
