3.1 Sewing settings

Adjusting the upper thread tension

Alterations of the upper thread tension in the Setup Program affect all stitch patterns. Individual alteration of
the upper thread tension can also be made for currently selected stitches.
> Tap «Setup Program».
> Tap «Sewing settings».
> Tap «Upper Thread Tension».
> Adjust the upper thread tension.

Adjusting the maximum sewing speed

You can use this function to reduce the maximum speed.
> Tap «Setup Program».
> Tap «Sewing settings».
> Tap «Maximum Sewing Speed».

> Set the maximum sewing speed.

Programming the securing stitches

If the function is switched on, at the start of the pattern, 4 securing stitches are automatically sewn after the
thread cut.
> Tap «Setup Program».
> Tap «Sewing settings».
> Tap the switch again to deactivate the securing stitches.
> Tap the switch again to activate the securing stitches.

Adjusting the hovering height of the presser foot

The hovering height of the presser foot can be adjusted according to the fabric thickness from 0 to maximal
7 mm.
