e. If the internal adapter bracket is installed and blocks the way of removing the fan cage,
disconnect all the cables from the internal adapter; then, remove the internal adapter bracket
from the node (see
Step 2. Disconnect all the fan cables from the system board.
Step 3. Remove the fan cage from the node.
a. Pivot the release plunger to the unlocked position.
b. Carefully push the fan cage assembly toward the rear of the node; then, lift the fan cage out
of the node.
