6.2.1.4 Performing EPO

Turn on the EPO switch (provided by the customer). The UPS enters the EPO state.
That is, the UPS shuts down the inverter, and does not transfer to bypass mode.

6.2.2 Parallel System Operations

6.2.2.1 Installing Cables

Context
This section uses 15 kVA/20 kVA UPSs (three-phase input three-phase output, two
power sources, without a PDU) as an example to describe how to connect two
UPSs in parallel.

● For UPS2000-G-15KRTL-01/UPS2000-G-20KRTL-01, choose Settings > System
Parameters > Other Settings and set EPO Enable to Enable.
● Connect an external switch to the EPO port on the UPS. After you turn on the switch,
the inverter shuts down, and the UPS will not transfer to bypass mode. Output terminals
completely power off, which meets the EPO purpose.
● The external EPO switch (switch or dry contact signals controlled by a switch) is
provided by the customer.
