GENERAL INFORMATION
EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
Fuel vapor from the fuel tank and carburetor is directed i n to the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister where i t i s absorbed
and stored while the engine is stopped. When the engine i s running and the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge control
valve i s open, fuel vapor i n the EVAP canister i s drawn into the engine through the carburetor.
