TIMING SPROCKET INSTALLATION
Check the timing sprocket for wear or damage.
ff you replacing the timing sprocket, align the center of the
gear teeth with the center of woodruff key groove as shown.
Install the crankshaft i n to the right crankcase.

DISASSEMBLY
Remove the shift fork shaft.
Remove the shift drum.
Remove the shift forks.
Remove the mainshaft and countershaft as an assembly from
the crankcase.
Disassemble the mainshaft and countershaft.
INSPECTION

SHIFT FORK

Check the shift fork for any wear, bending or damage.
Measure the shift fork I . D.
