3. If the target vehicle is traveling slower than the patrol
vehicle, the operator should press and hold the
SLOWER switch on the remote control.
NOTE: If the unit has "DCM" antennas the radar will
automatically determine if the target vehicle is
traveling slower or faster. Thus the display will
automatically display the correct target vehicle
speed and the use of the SLOWER button is
unnecessary.
NOTE: The Slower mode will remain active for two
(2) seconds after the switch has been released so
the operator can activate the lock mode if
necessary.
4. Refer to Sec. 7.3, steps 5 through 7 for locking of the
target vehicle's speed.
