7.6 Product simulation

Product profile simulation, or booster system simulation, can be
useful for testing and pre-commissioning purposes. It is possible to
simulate a booster system profile when using a CIM/CIU 300 that is
not connected to any product. The CIM/CIU 300 behaves as if a
booster system was connected on the GENIbus. The objects
supported by the simulated product appear available, although the
data are only dummy values that do not simulate real booster
system behaviour.
Product simulation is enabled by setting the Multistate output object
"Product simulation" (MO, 2):
Product to simulate
Disabled (no simulation)
Hydro Multi-E before MGE model H
Hydro MPC (CU 352)
Hydro Multi-B (CU 323)
Hydro Multi-E (MGE model H and later)
Product simulation is always disabled on power-up.
If a physical booster system is detected on the GENIbus
at power-up, it is not possible to enable product
simulation.

7.7 Tank-filling applications

Normally, the Hydro Multi-B runs in pressure-boosting mode, but it
can also be set to run in tank-filling mode.
Proceed as follows:
1. Set the application to tank-filling mode on the CU 323 via the
Grundfos PC Tool E-Products. This cannot be set via the
BACnet.
2. To enable bus control via the BACnet, set the Binary output 0
(BO, 0) to value 1.
3. Set the tank height with Analog output 0 (AO, 0), Setpoint.
4. Set start and stop levels as well as alarm and warning limits with
(AO, 1), (AO, 2), (AO, 3) and (AO, 4). Note that these values are
set in percentage of the total tank height.

7.8 Remote sensors (CU 352)

A PLC fieldbus master with 1-6 connected analogue sensors can
send the sensor readings to the Grundfos Hydro MPC via a CIM
fieldbus. The MPC can display the values and use them for different
planned functions like setpoint influencing.
