4.5 Status LEDs

The CIM 500 Ethernet module has two status LEDs:
• Red and green status LED (LED1) for Ethernet communication
• Red and green status LED (LED2) for internal communication
between the CIM 500 and the Grundfos product.
LED1
Status Description
There is no BACnet IP communication or it is

switched off.
Flashing green The BACnet IP communication is active.
Permanently red There is a fault in the CIM 500 configuration.

There is an error in firmware download.
green
The module is resetting to factory default.
Flashing red and green
After 20 seconds, the CIM 500 restarts.
LED2
Status Description
Off The CIM 500 is switched off.
There is no internal communication between the

CIM 500 and the Grundfos product.
The CIM 500 does not support the Grundfos
Permanently red
product connected.
Internal communication between the CIM 500

4.6 DATA and LINK LEDs

The CIM 500 Ethernet module has two connectivity LEDs related to
each RJ45 connector.
DATA1 and DATA2
These yellow LEDs indicate data traffic activity.
Status Description
Yellow off There is no data communication on the RJ45 connector.
There is data communication ongoing on the RJ45
Yellow flashing
connector.
Permanently
There is heavy network traffic.

LINK1 and LINK2
These green LEDs show whether the Ethernet cable is properly
connected.
Status Description
Green off There is no Ethernet link on the RJ45 connector.
Green on The Ethernet link on the RJ45 connector is OK.
