Top Component Removal and Installation
INSTALL THE ROOM AIR FAN (continued)

Connect the electrical connectors to the room air fan.
Install the Loudspeaker

Insert the tabs of the loudspeaker into the top exhaust duct.

Rotate the loudspeaker counterclockwise until the arrow on
top of the loudspeaker is pointing to the front of the unit.

Connect the loudspeaker electrical connector to the control
board.
Install the Top Plate

Place the top plate on the unit.

Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the screws into the top plate.
VALVE COUPLER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
To remove the valve coupler assembly, first remove the top
plate, loudspeaker, room air fan motor, temperature sensor
300C, stepper motor, and top exhaust duct.
Remove the Top Plate

Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the screws from the top and
back of the unit.

Remove the top plate from the unit.
Remove the Loudspeaker
1
Disconnect the loudspeaker wire connector from the control
board.

Rotate the loudspeaker clockwise.

Remove the loudspeaker from the top exhaust duct.
Remove the Room Air Fan
1
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the room air fan.
2
Rotate the room air fan clockwise.
3
Lift the room air fan up and remove it from the unit.
Remove the Temperature Sensor 300C
1
Disconnect the temperature sensor 300C electrical
connector from the unit relay board.
2
Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screw from the
temperature sensor 300C.
