4-4 CORRECTION REQUIRED WHEN AN EXTENSION CABLE WAS USED
When using an extension cable, the measured value contains an error due to an extension cable. The
longer an extension cable is used, the larger a measurement error grows. In order to remove this error,
multiply the measured value by a correction value. Note that the correction value includes a certain
amount of error due to the extension cable type, ambient temperature, etc. How to calculate the
correction value and how to use it are described as follows.
NOTE
The correction described in 4-4 is not required after the Actual Load Calibration (4-3-1).
The correction described in 4-4 is required only after the Sensitivity adjustment by the CAL
(4-3-2). Furthermore, use an extension cable (0.5 mm
2
) up to 200 m.
