A. Axial displacement
Module
The module (gear parameter) of a trigger wheel defines which type of sensor can be used
for the measurement at this wheel. If the trigger wheel is not available yet, it can be
manufactured according to the requirements of the sensor. Calculate the gear parameter
(module) with the following formula:
Module = P/π
Pitch P is the distance between the tooth centers on the pitch circle (see
Figure 4-27: Distance tooth center to tooth center rectangular tooth profile

profiles are shown for individual sensor types.
