7.6.3. Main circuit breaker (MCB) checklist

1) MCB is selected as per "Main circuit breaker specification".
NOTE – Pay attention to MCB opening time and installation of undervoltage coil or
second opening coil
2) High-voltage power connections completed
3) MCB is ready to be tested with converter.
4) MCB protection relay settings are set and tested.
5) Protection devices (eg, door locks) are tested and in operation.
6) Local operation of MCB is disabled.
7) Emergency-off loop is tested.

7.6.4. Input transformer checklist

1) Transformer is selected and installed according ABB Specification.
2) Grounding is completed.
3) Transformer auxiliaries (eg, dehydrating breathers, cooling, protection devices)
are ready.
4) Protection devices (eg, door locks) are tested and in operation.

7.6.5. Generator checklist

1) Generator is installed, aligned and alignment protocol available.
2) Grounding is completed.
3) Generator auxiliaries (eg, bearing lubrication) are ready.
4) Control and monitoring signals are connected.
5) The electrical data of the generator (power, voltage, frequency pole, terminal
pairs, cosPhi, stator resistance, rotor resistance, d and q inductance), gearbox
(ratio, mirrored or direct) and moment of inertia (complete rotor with blades) is
provided to ABB.
