8. Check that the DC-link grounding switch is in position "not grounded".
9. Check the LED indication at the converter side to obtain state information.
The 3 yellow LEDs must be off to get the READY TO START CONVERTER status (see
Fig. 8–1).
The ISOLATOR CLOSED LED does confirm that the converter DC-link is grounded and it
is safe to work.
The ISOLATOR RELEASED LED confirms that the solenoid coil is released to connect the
DC-link to ground. If the LED is off, the DC-link is charged and the handle cannot be
turned towards the grounded position.
10. (If applicable): Check that the grid grounding isolator is open and the grid
disconnectors are closed.
IMPORTANT! Grid disconnectors and grid grounding isolators are not operated by the
PCS6000 control.
11. Check that the main circuit breaker is in operating position.
The PCS6000 is now in status OFF and ready to be started via the customer's HMI system.
