4. Transportation, storage and disposal

4.1. Safety

Before you begin, read and understand the general safety instructions in
chapter 2, Important safety information, page 19.

▶ DO NOT stand on the converter modules or the roof of the control cabinets

▶ Transport the PCS6000 in an upright position.
▶ Transport equipment is to be chosen according to all relevant specifications
and prescriptions.
4.2. Transportation
The following instructions are to be observed for the transport of PCS6000 converters.
The following packing options are available for the PCS6000:
– Foil wrapped and wood pallet: Packing for land transportation, page 44
– Foil wrapped and wood box (sea transportation)
