4.2.4. Loading and unloading

NOTICE
transportation!
Metallic dust in particular may cause serious damage and lead to malfunction
when the PCS6000 is powered up.
▶ When moving cabinets, keep the doors closed and ensure that no dirt enters.
▶ Always transport the PCS6000 converter in an upright position and mounted
on the wood pallet.
The cabinets of the PCS6000 can be lifted and transported by the following:
– Crane (recommended)
– Fork lift truck
Observe the following points when loading and unloading the cabinets:
– Payload of chemicals or cargo with rods poking out is not permitted to be transported
together with the converter components.
– Loading area is to be checked on leakage and cleanliness
– ABB will not accept any liability unless the damage is properly reported. Use damage
description report at the end of the chapter.
– In order to avoid damage to the equipment do not remove the packing before moving
the equipment to the place of installation.
