Dialing Softkeys and Options

The dialing softkey labels are displayed when you begin
entering a phone number that you want to dial in standby
mode. The dialing options appear in the options menu when
you start entering digits.
The dialing softkeys are:
Call
(left softkey) to dial the number and begin the call.
Cancel
(right softkey) to clear the display and return to
standby mode.
To display the dialing options, enter several digits of the phone
number or highlight a number in a call list, then press
select an option, highlight it and press
The following options are available when you select a number
from a call list:
Add Number to save the phone number in your Internal
Phone Book. (See "Saving a Phone Number" on page 23.)
Edit before Call to let you change the number before making
the call.
Erase Number to delete the number from the call list (press

[left softkey] to confirm the deletion).
Erase All to delete all of the entries in the call list (press

[left softkey] to confirm the deletion).
Credit Card Call to dial the phone number using a calling
card that you have set up in the phone. (See "Entering
Calling Cards" on page 84.)
Find Contact to display the stored information for the
contact (only available if call list entry is a saved contact).
The following options are added to the standby mode options
when you begin entering digits:
Add Number to save the phone number in your Internal
Phone Book. (See "Saving a Phone Number" on page 23.)
Enter Soft Pause inserts a break ( ) that interrupts
transmission of numbers for approximately two seconds
before continuing to send numbers.
Enter Hard Pause inserts a break ( ) that stops transmission
of numbers until you press
sending numbers.
