Using Voice Dialing

Your phone's voice dialing feature lets you make phone calls
without having to look at or touch your phone.
Before using voice dialing to call your contacts, you must add
voice tags to them (see "Adding Voice Tags to Contacts" on
page 119). The Voice Commands, such as Call, are pre-recorded
in English, but you can re-record these commands if you wish
(see "Recording Voice Commands" on page 123).

Activating Voice Dialing

When you activate voice dialing, you prepare your phone for
use of your Voice Tags or other Voice Commands.
To activate voice dialing do one of the following from standby
mode:
Press and hold a side volume key.
Press
(left softkey).
Press and hold
Press and hold the button on your portable hands-free.
Say your Magic Word through your portable or car hands-
free (this feature must be activated, see "Magic Word" on
page 128).
Your phone will prompt you to say a name or a command and
you will hear a beep.
Using Voice Dialing
To use voice dialing for voice commands and voice tags:
1. Activate voice dialing (see "Activating Voice Dialing" on
page 121).
2. After the beep, do one of the following:
To voice dial a command, say the command (for example,
"voicemail, " "return call," or "redial").
To voice dial a contact, say the contact's voice tag, or say
"call" and say the voice tag after the next prompt. If there
are multiple numbers for the contact, you will be
prompted to say the number type.
