Input Language

You can set up the languages that will be available in your
phone when you are entering text.
To set up the input languages:
1. From standby mode, press
scroll to Settings (
2. Highlight Other and press
3. Highlight Language and press
4. Highlight Input Language and press
5. To add an available language, highlight it and press
(left softkey).
6. To remove an available language, highlight it and press

Character Input Mode

Your PCS Phone provides convenient ways to enter words,
letters, punctuation, and numbers whenever you are prompted
to enter text (for example, when adding a contact to your
Internal Phone Book). The input mode options are:
Multitap to enter characters by tapping the keypad (see
"Entering Characters by Tapping the Keypad" on page 45).
Number to enter numbers (see "Entering Numbers" on
page 46).
Tegic T9 to enter characters using T9 Text Input (see
"Entering Characters Using T9 Predictive Text Input" on
page 46).
