Using the Battery

Battery Capacity
Your PCS Phone is equipped with a Lithium Polymer battery. It
allows you to recharge your battery before it is fully drained.
The battery provides approximately 2.5 hours of continuous
digital talk time (1 hour in analog) or approximately 7 days of
continuous digital standby time (20 hours in analog).
When the battery reaches 5% of its capacity, the phone sounds
an audible alert and displays a low battery message. After this
message, the battery icon blinks to indicate low power. When
the battery is empty, the phone briefly displays a message and
sounds an audible alert, then powers down.
Note:
Backlight settings, searching for service, vibrate mode, and browser
use affect the battery's talk and standby times.
Tip:
Be sure to watch your phone's battery level indicator and charge the
battery before it runs out of power.
