Using Safe Storage

Your phone's Safe Storage feature lets you store information,
such as security codes and bank and credit card PINs, and
protect them with a password. Then, when you need the
information, all you have to remember is the password to open
your Safe Storage.
Checkword and Security
You set up your Safe Storage when you enter it for the first time.
You must choose and enter a password that you will use to
access Safe Storage. You will also have to enter a Checkword
that will be used to confirm a correct password when you
re-enter Safe Storage. Once you have entered Safe Storage, you
can save up to 10 entries, each with a name and a code (for
example, you might enter the name "XYZ Bank" and the code
"1234").
When you enter your password to open Safe Storage, the
checkword is shown for a short time. If the password is correct,
the correct checkword is shown, and the names and codes are
correct. If you enter the incorrect password, the checkword
and the codes that are shown are incorrect.
Factors strengthening the security of Safe Storage are:
You get no feedback about whether the password is correct,
except for the checkword, and only you know the
checkword.
All codes are encrypted in the mobile phone.
When you access your codes, they are shown for a limited
time only.
