Setting Direct View
With your phone's Direct View feature, you can choose to have
incoming messages displayed when you receive them. If you
turn this feature off, a new message notification will be
displayed instead.
To set Direct View:
1. From standby mode, press
scroll to Messaging (
2. Highlight Preferences and press
3. Highlight Direct View and press
4. Highlight On or Off and press

Viewing Messaging Memory

You can check the status of your phone's messaging memory.
The status displays the percentages for locked messages,
memory used, and memory empty.
To view the messaging memory:
1. From standby mode, press
scroll to Messaging (
2. Highlight Memory Status and press
3. Review the statistics and press

Checking Message Count

You can check the number of messages you have received in
your phone. You can also reset this count.
To check the message count:
1. From standby mode, press
scroll to Messaging (
2. Highlight Message Count and press
