After pairing with a Bluetooth (BT) device, you can initiate a
Bluetooth session with a Bluetooth device. To initiate, the mode
on the phone and device must be set to On or Automatic.
Session - An active connection between the phone and
device, such as a call using a Bluetooth headset. Ending the
call ends the session.
Mode - Enables a session. There are three modes:
Automatic - The BT function is turned on automatically
when you answer or make a call via BT handsfree or
when you start sending information, such as a business
card. The mode changes to On once you pair with a
Bluetooth device, but you can reset it to Automatic.
Automatic mode improves battery consumption. In
Automatic mode, you can accept a Bluetooth session, but
you cannot initiate a Bluetooth session.
