Notes for Operation

6.4.1

Measuring Range

The measuring range of the sensors is factory-set.
The area illuminated by the projector is relevant for the actual measuring range of the sensor. The cameras are arranged
in such a way that both cameras capture the area illuminated by the projector within the complete measuring volume.
The extension of the measuring range in Z direction varies due to the point-shaped light source of the projector and the
fan-out over the lens, see
6.4.2

Calibration

The calibration of the sensor serves to determine the orientation of the camera coordinates in the coordinate system of
the inspection system and is carried out with the aid of a pre-calibrated calibration target.
The sensor is factory calibrated upon delivery. An acceptance report is included with each sensor.
