box. Browse to the directory that contains the seven files needed to register a new
device with DeltaV. These files consist of 3 *.dll files, *.sym, *.ffo, *fhx, and *.reg
files. The files are probably on a floppy disk or a CD-ROM that accompanies your
device. On CD-ROMs delivered together with Emerson transmitters the files are
located in the directory /Fieldbus. Dependent on the existing system, use the files of
the appropriate subdirectory.
